The event was given recognition by the City of Milpitas, the Arts Council of Santa Clara County and the Silicon Valley Arts Foundation. Now the event is partly supported with annual grants from those organizations to perpetuate the cultural celebration. This year’s 27th Annual Filipino Fiesta and the multicultural presentation will be made possible in part through a grant from the City of Milpitas (free performance space). The fiesta will include the following performers: Milpitas High School Glee Club, Oscar & Sons DJ, Hiyas Music Ensemble Randall, Hiyas Folk Dance Co., Sonata Group, Pacific Music Association (violin musical rendition), Kahayan Folk Arts, Hawaiian Dance Group, Estrella Milpitas Dance Group, Orchid Dance Group, The Hot Peppers/Mekong River Vocal Ensemble, martial arts performance and many additions.
