Walters, who’s currently co-writing a musical, is excited about her community theater involvement. “While there are amazing artists that go on to do professional theater in New York or L.A. or Chicago, community theater is where everyone starts. It’s a great building block for anyone’s career, because it opens your eyes to the reality of how hard you have to work to get a production on its feet. And, like any sports team, the entire cast, the entire company, forms a unique bond.”.
