Or find a perfectly unique and lovable gift for any dancer!- The cover of the kit has an insert so that pins and sewing needles can be conveniently and safely stored without pricking fingers or getting tangled.- Puppers is 19.5cm x 9 cm (3.5"x 7.75")- snaps to close- comes with several straight pins, sewing needs and safety pins- 3 pockets to hold ribbons, elastic, thread and anything else you needBallet requires a level of uniformity, yet all the young dancers I know are wonderfully unique and motivated people. These little companions are a splash of personality that are also very handy and useful to every dancer. I love creating objects that are both useful and expressive, but I hate doing the same thing over and over, so you can be sure that the Mini Monster you choose is as unique as you! Plus I use recycled, reused and re-loved fabrics and notions so these little monsters are environmentally friendly and ethical too!

In addition to making appearances around the globe and recording, Alexeev is professor of advanced piano at the Royal College of Music in London. He was appointed to the post last year. Alexeev has a soft spot for the mazurka, the sprightly Polish folk dance. It’s some of the most beautiful music written for piano, he has said. Fittingly, it will be heard at Le Petit Trianon, when Alexeev plays Frédéric Chopin’s Mazurkas Op. 24 No. 3 and Op. 7 No. 3. Leading off the program are Schumann’s Arabeske Op. 18 and Sonata No. 1, Op. 11; a series of Liszt arrangements, including Wagner’s “Pilgrim’s Chorus” from Tannhäuser and “Isolde’s Liebestod” from Tristan und Isolde; and Schubert’s “Der Müller und der Bach” and “Aufenthalt.”.
