A sweet medal style pendant that has the appearance of being loved and treasured for many years. Made on a base of time worn vintage linen. It has a small embroidered patch of flowers, a piece of garment sizing ribbon, mother of pearl button and a tiny piece of vintage printed cotton together with its lovely ceramic red glazed ballet shoes (handmade in France). The pendant hangs from a sari silk cord embellished with a tiny fragment of silky ribbon and tiny vintage metal bluebell. The silk cord fastens with a small vintage shirt button. This enables the pendant to also be worn as a brooch if the cord is slid carefully through the loop on the pendant and a safety pin added.The sari silk cord measures approx 78cm long and the pendant measures 7.5cm. The overall drop is approx 45cm.
